How sustainable is "green" lighting?

How sustainable is "green" lighting?

Morning everyone, I am interested in more efficient lighting for cost reasons, but I'm wondering how green these alternatives actually are....if anyone is familiar with products like <a href="http://www.eco-lights.com/">these</a>, I'd appreciate some input. Thanks.

Depending on what you mean, they are not any more efficient than anything else. There's lots of choices there: did you mean anything specific? The fixtures I looked at had bulb not included and recommended a standard incandescent bulb.

Their thing appears to be "sustainable" hand made manufacturing, and I can't answer to that.
