Lights blew in my cellar

Lights blew in my cellar
Hey guys.
A year or so back, I wired up the lighting in my cellar. I have two wall lights that are controlled by one switch.
They usually work fine, but in the last month, both of them have blown, the last one quite dramatically.
Do you think there could be a problem with the wiring? What should I check?
Bless,
Chris

What do you mean by "blowing" and "quite spectacularly"? I assume you mean the light bulbs burned out and possibly one bulb made flash of light and a pop sound when you turned on the switch.
If the lights have worked for a year and the fuses/breakers are not tripping and the house has not burned down then I think the wiring has nothing to do with the lights blowing.
Have you tried replacing the light bulbs?
