Adding A Motion Sensor To An Existing Outdoor Wall Fixture?
I've got 4 existing outdoor lights that I'd like to replace with these fixtures (Minka Lavery 8762 Tuscan 1 Light Outdoor Wall Sconces from the Merrimack Collection). However one of the existing fixtures is a motion activated security flood light. Is there any way that I can add a motion sensor like this (Motion-Activated Light Adapter - HS3110D at The Home Depot) to that light fixture?
I'd like the motion sensor to be as subtle and low key as possible so as not to take away from the actual look of the fixture. Any insight or advice will be much appreciated.

It would work. The sensor cord could come out the bottom of the light globe and the sensor could be positioned away from the light by a few feet. Subtle and low key are in the eye of the beholder. The sensor cord could be painted to match the siding.
