Outdoor light sensor and GFI

Attempting to use a outside light sensor and a GFI outlet tied into the same source. I do not want the outdoor light sensor controlling the GFI. The light sensor will control two outdoor lights on posts.

I know all white connect. Light sensor red wire connects to black wire for the outdoor lights.

My question:

Connecting the black wires so that the light sensor controls the outdoor lights and not the GFI outlet.

Thank you.

Welcome to the forums! You will need to wire in the GFCI first and bring the lighting off the LOAD side of the GFCI. That way the GFCI will protect itself and the lighting. If you wire the lights in first without consideration of the GFCI, You will need to run a neutral, ground and supply black to the LINE side of the GFCI.
