how to wire a pull chain switch into a wall sconce.
I have a wall sconce that I want to install with a pull chain switch that I AM ADDING MY SELF, BUT NOT SURE OF WIRE HOOK UP. THERE ARE TWO BLACK WIRES ON THE SWITCH, WHAT WIRES DO THEY MOUNT TO.

There should be a black wire attached to the sconce. Remove the wire from the sconce and attach one of the switch wires to the wire which you removed from the sconce. Attach the other switch wire to the sconce in place of the original.
Don't forget to turn off power to the sconce - best to turn it off at the breaker box - before you touch anything.
