12V Landscape bulb burn out

I've got 2 lamp post fixtures in front yard where each post has 2 sockets for automobile tail light sockets, for lack of better term. The pole closet to the transformer will have a burnt out bulb in 30 days. I'm using Longlife 1156 in all 4 sockets and the pole further from transformer has had no problem past 12 months. That pole is also the dimmer of the two. Any ideas would be appreciated.

With the transformer set up, the closest bulb always gets the hog's portion of the electricity while the ones further down get less. It goes with the territory. Is it possible to relocate your transformer to the middle of the run?

Ooops, I have 2 separate transformers. One for each post. They sit side by side in garage. Sorry.

Measure the secondary voltage on each transformer with the light on.
