Flood light motion sensor

I bought a new LED motion activated security light made by Utilitech Pro, the problem is that the light stays on all day and night I have followed all the instructions but nothing works. Need help.

Is there a test switch that may be on. That would turn the light on constantly. The other possibility is a wiring issue. Is your light fed with a switched power or a continuous feed?

Can you describe the wiring connections you made?

I don't have much experience with Utilitech, but from what I've read, that brand isn't known for making quality products.

Test switch is in the 1 minute position, only two wires black and white, fed from a switch, followed all the instructions on the installation sheet. this happens to all the lights that I install in this location.

Is it installed in a dark area - maybe under a heavy shadow? You could test it by shining a flashlight on the light sensor for a minute or two.
