Light flickering
Hi this is my first post.
I have no experience in fixing light fixtures, but would like to learn.
Today, when I turned my bedroom light on, the light would not stay on. Instead, it flickered on and off at a very constant tempo. I tried changing the bulbs but it is still flickering. I also tried resetting the circuit breaker. The bulbs are chandelier bulbs. What could be causing this and how can I fix it? Any help is appreciated.

Assumes light is controlled by only one switch.
With the breaker off remove the two wires from the switch that are on the brass screws and connect them together with a wire nut. Do not remove the ground wire from the green screw. Turn the breaker back on. If the lights no longer flicker it is a bad switch.

You need to pull the light and check the connections there. Any wire nuts in the ceiling box and the switch box should be removed and checked for corrosion inside and on the wires or just replaced. This isn't a can light is it?
