Another bulb replacement problem

My home was built in 1975 and used very up to date fixtures. Unfortunately the light in the bathroom ceiling flush-fitting light/fan/heater has burned out. This is the first time I have run across this particular problem as I have only recently acquired the family home. I cannot figure out how to get to the bulb. I have tried the lift and turn technique but there is no indication that it is going to move. I tried taking pictures but too little light ( ) so I used the pencil and paper method and found out that the glass has the work Nutone on it in raised letters. Any suggestions?

Try grabbing the outer edges of the metal trim and pull down. You may need to run a thin blade between the trim and ceiling if it has been painted in place.
