Porch Light Won't Light-Up
Dear members,
One of my porch gate lights popped thus blew-up when I switched them on after a heavy down-pour.
Later I tried changing the bulb but it didn't light-up. Then I dismantled everything and tested the life wire at the bulb-end with my test-pen and there's no electric supply. What should I do next?
Another porch light, which is connected to the same switch works perfectly well.
Appreciate all your advise.

Have you check the wires that come of out the wall for power? If still no power take down the other light (the one that works). The power from the house probably goes to the working light first. Then the wire goes from there to the light that does not work. There could be a bad connection at the light that still works. If it is not a bad connection you may have to pull a new wire from the working light to the bad one.
