Please help with LED recessed lighting......I'm really confused

I want to add recessed lighting around the eves of the outside of my house. I want to do 5 inch cans or smaller because space constaints. Also I want to do LED to reduce electricity costs.

What will setup will comsume the least amount of electricity?
Or is there no real difference. All option will start with basic 120v wire.

Option

1. Buy LED can and trim combo (starts at $60ea. at home depot)

2. By a regular can and install an LED retrofit trim (can $10ea, trim $40ea)

3. By LED housing and choose from a variety of LED trim kits (cans $70 Juno trim $30 ea)

4. By regular can housing and screw in LED bulbs and purchase basic trim. (housing $10-20, bulbs $35ea, trim $12)

Thanks in advanced

I would just go with the look I liked. Unless one bulb is much larger than the others I would think the operating wattages would be similar.

As PC said, a watt is a watt is a watt. You pay for electricity per kilowatt hour so, whatever has the least amount of watts will use the least amount of of electricity.

I would go with option 2 or 4 because with standard cans you can do whatever you want if you decide the LED's are not working out or you want to change trims.

Good point, I'll go for the regular cans and buy LED bulbs.

Thanks
