Help with buzzing light fixture, no dimmer

I have a buzzing light fixture, that still buzzes even with the switch off and the light bulb removed. It is a single bulb, pretty generic fixture.

From some searching, buzzing light fixtures tend to be associated with dimmer switches, but that is not the case here. The switch is the simple on/off variety, but the switch does switch on multiple lights.

Any suggestions on what the problem might be, or what to look at? I can snap a picture if it helps.

As a first-time home owner, I still have a lot to learn about the maintenance side of things. I expect / hope this is something trivial.

Thanks!

Is it an incandescent light fixture. Have you pulled it and redid all wire nut connections.

Welcome to the forums!

That sounds like a loose connection in a feed-through connection behind the fixture. I would check the connections, as Ray suggested, in the fixture box.

I can snap a picture if it helps.
Thanks. We may ask you later. Or you can post one if you see something that confuses you when you pull the fixture.
