Ceiling Fan NOT in middle of my three way switches - wiring question
All wiring diagrams I am finding show the ceiling fan (with light fixture) in between the two three way switches. But in my double switch box, the line for the three way switch on the other side of the room runs directly to the switch box, and the line for the fan runs directly into the switch box as well. Power comes into the switch box from the panel via black, white, ground.
On left side switch box I have a three way switch to operate the fan light only from two locations in the room. On right side of switch box I have a switch that I am only using to control the fan.
This is a rewire, as I swapped fans from one room to the other. But apparently the previous wiring was using the white wire from the three way switch across the room as a load wire (though not marked as such) and it was connected to the black wires from the panel.
I've got the fan switch connected and working properly. Its black wire is connected to the black wire from the fan, and its red wire is connected to the black wire from the power supply. It's red and white striped wire is dead ended into a wire nut. It has a selector switch on it for the fan speeds, and it is working without a problem.
Now how to connect the three way switch in my double switch box. I have all ground wires connected together in the switch box. All white wires are connected together execpt for the white wire coming from the across the room three way switch (recall that this one was previously fed into the black wires but I removed it temporarily). I have two red wires in the box - one from the fan and one from the three way switch cross the room. I have the black wire from the three way switch across the room.
The three way switch across the room is utilizing ground wire, red wire on top, and black wire and white wire on bottom.
Assistance appreciated. Excuse me if the problem and solution is already posted in this forum.

Welcome to the forums!
It sounds like you have a fan light combo fixture with a single-position fan motor control switch and a pair of 3-way switches for the light. Is that correct? Two switches where the power and the load both come in and one switch across the room? With a 2-conductor cable feeding power in, a 3-conductor cable connecting the two switch boxes and a second 3-conductor cable from the 2-gang switch box to the ceiling outlet.
If so, it sounds like you may have connected the wires to the fan motor control backwards, but you've got it working.
If the two switches for the light are standard 3-way switches, with one black screw and two brass screws, pull the switch across the room and make sure it is wired this way: Mark the white wire in the 3-conductor cable with black or red electrical tape or permanent marker and terminate it to the black screw. Terminate the black and red wires in the 3-conductor cable to the two brass screws.
In the 2-gang box, mark the white wire in the 3-conductor cable with black or red electrical tape or permanent marker and splice it to the red wire going to the ceiling. Terminate the black and red wires in the 3-conductor cable to the two brass screws on the 3-way switch. Use a pigtail to connect the black screw on this switch to the same black power feed that is connected to the fan motor control switch. The white neutrals from the panel and the ceiling should already be spliced together simce you've got the fan working.
