Safe in-line dimmer switch for CFL lamps?
Hey all!
I am building up an illuminator for a fiberoptic display-- rather than shelling out several hundred dollars to buy one. My setup as I imagine it uses a 1-to-4 lamp socket adapter loaded up with 4 100w-eq. (26w actual? 23w? Whatever) CFL lamps. The butt end of this adapter screws into a regular lamp socket, which I'd like to wire up with an in-line dimmer switch. The cord would then plug into a socket with its own dedicated circuit.
My question: who knows of a SAFE in-line dimmer switch for CFLs? Bonus points if you know of one that gives a full range of dimming, and no flickering. THANKS!

Not sure what you are building, but I'll only address the question. Read the information here: Dimming CFLs and LEDs
