question on light fixture specs

Hi folks –

Could someone please double check for me to make sure that I understand the specs for the light fixture at the following link:

Kichler 65348 Semi-Flush 4Lt

They are saying the fixture can use up to 4 standard A-base bulbs of any wattage, but the sum of the wattage cannot exceed 100 watts. Is that correct?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Just my opinion but given that we're talking about A19/medium base bulbs, I think that's per bulb; 25 W max per bulb in a fixture would be pretty minimal lighting and it does not make sense to me to put in four sockets yet limit each one to 25 W.

Looks like 4 bulbs of up to 100 watts each, not total.

Thanks a lot guys!

That was my first impression as I was thinking about getting that fixture. Then I went back and looked again today and said "no, they mean 100 watts max". So I crossed that fixture off my list .

I'm going to put it back in the list.

Thanks again!
