Replacing old florescent lights

I have recently taken down (7) 8 ft florescent light fixtures that were not wired very well. I put up an equivalant number of track lights but I am having trouble wiring them up to work right on three switches. I would even pu them on one switch if I could just work it right. What might I be doing wrong?

With out telling us the wiring at each light and at each switch or even exactly what your problem is there is no way to answer your question. There is no single correct way to wire a light so we have no way of know how yours are wired or should be wired.

The first thing you need to do is find which switches controlled which lights. Trace the wires to any junction boxes that may exist.
