Fluorescent Light Pulsing/Cycling
Hello,
I recently installed a number of shop lights in my basement. With one fixture, about 15-30 seconds after it's turned on, the T8 bulbs get a wavy/pulsing appearance and the light output drops. I've replaced the fixture once, and new fixture does the same thing. I've swapped bulbs too. None of the other fixtures I installed on the same circuit have this problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Yes - the receptacle is also powering another identical light with no issues. The grounding is solid. I opened up the fixture and everything looks fine, although there really doesn't appear to be anything user serviceable inside.
I let it run for a while and the condition improved over time, perhaps I'll give it a few days and see what happens. Otherwise I'm thinking it may have been a bad lot at the store. If the problem continues I'll swap for a new one with a different lot #.
Thank you guys.

Fluorescent lights sometimes need a burn in time. I use to see a similar effect though not really that pronounced when installing new bulbs at a place I did maintenance for. Almost looked like gray, rope like tendrils intertwining around the tube.
Echo, echo.
