Help Installing Ceiling Light (Too Many Wires)

Hello,

I recently moved into a condo and they had done the wiring for a dining room light, but did not actually install one. I opened it up today and there are a lot more wires than described in the instructions I received with my light fixture. Instructions say to connect white, black and green wires, but there's something like 4-5 more coming out of the ceiling. I'm assuming some of these are for a ceiling fan but from what I've read in other posts, there's still some unexplained ones.

I'm completely new at this so any help would be appreciated. Picture of the wires is attached.

Thanks!

Connect black to the single orange wire at the bottom and the white to single white wire at the bottom of the picture.
