Chandelier Installation

I bought this chandelier in Italy and I'm not sure how to install it. I'm OK with the wiring ... how do I connect this large base into the ceiling given that the fixture box is so small in comparison.

Welcome to the forums.

That fixture appears to be missing it's custom mounting base/ junction box.

I'm not sure what you can use to mount it.

Welcome to the forums!

Did you get any instructions with it? Any additional hardware? I don't see any provision for mounting screws - am I missing something?

Does the end of the downrod extend into the canopy, and is it threaded on the outside - it's hard to see because it's behind your tape measure.

Why hasn't someone mentioned the three elephants in the room, voltage, bulb type, and since it contains a toroidal transformer, frequency. Italy is 230 volts at 50Hz. Or was this made for use in the U.S.?

Yes, but what I'm looking for is a means of mounting it with a hickey. Are you saying the transformer is in the way of screwing something onto the top of the downrod?
