Setting dip switches?

I have a Hampton Bay cieling fan/light with a remote control. My 2 year old got the back off the remote and now it doesn't work. I can only presume that he moved the dip switches around. Does anyone know how to fix the dip switch settings. I fiddled with them for a little while but didn't find a setting that got the fan working. any help?Read More

Why is it so hard to find BR40 LED bulbs in 120 watt equivalent ratings?

My house is full of can lights and in the old days you could get 120 watt incandescent flood lights no problem. Now the brightest I can find is 65W thanks to the governments needless mandates. I found just one LED that is rated at 120 watts equivalent in a BR40, made by Kobi Electric, a company I never heard of. Are they any good? Why doesn't any of the majors like GE, Sylvania, Phillips, make them?Read More
