misbehaving digital timer

Hi,
I installed two defiant digital timers on two different light switches. There are 5 wires on the device. I connected the load/return/neutral lines. One of the timers is working great. The other timer receives power, and I can program it; however, when I go to turn it on automatically, it turns the lights on, then immediately off. I'm unable to get it to stay on. I did the same steps for both timers. Does anybody have any advice?

Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

It could be that your timer only works with a specific type of bulb. Most timers will work with incandescent bulbs but not all will work with LED or CFL lamps.
