3 bulb fixture , only 2 bulbs work

I have replaced a single bulb fixture and succesfully installed a switch. I have replaced the existing fixture with a 3 bulb fixture and only 2 bulbs light up. Im wondering what the problem is ?
I know its not the fixture because this is the second fixture.
Thanks in advance

Swap bulbs between sockets. Slightly bend up the tab at the bottom of the non working socket. Redo your connections. If the fixture had three blacks or three whites it sounds like one of those isn't making a connection where it is connected to the house wiring. Many new fixtures come with "fake" wire nuts that contain no spring inside. If that is true replace with "real" wire nuts.
