Recommend me a good lamp parts source

I want to convert a vintage outside lantern from wall mount to ceiling mount. Normally this should be a cakewalk--discard the right angle bracket & use a "hang straight" between the canopy and lantern top. The problem is this antique uses 1/2" ID wire feed-throughs and I'm not having any luck finding an adjustable pendant knuckle that large.

So you're saying that the hole in the canopy and the top of the fixture are 1/2".

Are you looking for collar loops ? They come in all different diameters.
Search google for collar loops.

No it's the threaded pipe in the top of the socket that's 1/2" IPS. I don't want a swinging lantern--I'm hoping to end up with a swivel pendant knuckle between the canopy and cap/socket. The porch overhang is angled about 20 deg. & it's a breezy location.

Indeed they do. Especially now that I learn what I thought was 1/2" pipe (by measuring the ID) is in fact 3/8" pipe according to the charts & the nominal OD. I couldn't find squat in 1/2" but there are lots of choices in 3/8".

Thanks for the source--and the info found there.

I think it turned out factory-looking except the lacquer I sprayed on it dulled the beautiful shine I had achieved with buffer and hand polishing. Oh well this is quite acceptable and maybe will look better in the long haul than if I had left it unprotected.

Found the fitting at a local lamp supply that my brother knew of. Wow--after 60 years in business their store was like flipping through the best catalog you ever saw.
