I am moving into a townhouse i bought. It is about 20 years. So the building code at that time didn't require bathrooms to have fans. I want to put them in. So I will have to hire a roofer to open up 2 holes on the roof. I have some questions. 1) when they open up the roof, the location should be approximately closer to the bathrooms right? 2) Is it necessary to install Roof Flashing? Because the roofer told me on the phone that they are going to open up the roof, put a cover in and seal it with water proof materials. Is that how it is done normally? 3) Anything else that I should be aware of? Please advise. Thanks

hey so I would think that with led technology it would be great for low voltage lighting but I was mistaken, but maybe its just the manufacturer malibu which is terrible. Out of the 6 low voltage led lights 1 lasted after 4 weeks. After returning them and going through a hassle was wondering if anybody had any luck with a company that has lasting lights? Basically the problem with the Malibus were little bugs could get through them. They say they are outdoor weather proof but they are clearly not made for the outdoors. anyway if anybody knows any reliable company or suggestions let me know. thanks
