Several questions regarding outdoor motion activated security lights.

I have new vinyl siding on my house and I plan to install a motion activated L.E.D. security light under the eave. Question one, is there any sort of mounting platform needed to mount a security light on Vinyl ? The light came with a metal bracket, but for some reason it just doesn't seem as though it will look quite right. This fixture didn't come with a weather seal either. Being mounted under the eave it may not need one. But it would keep bugs out of it. And the main thing I would like to know, is there a way I could add another light at the other end of the eave and have it activate from the other lights motion sensor ? I hope that makes sense.

Yes..... you could install a remote floodlight head and connect it to the same motion sensor as your primary fixture.

Normally the fixtures come with a 1/2" threaded pipe and you'd use a round or square weatherproof plate on a matching weatherproof box.
