Solar LED light installiation
Hello all.
I am looking for advise/pointers on the topic above. I have a detached garage with no electricity run to it. I was thinking of installing some sort of solar lighting system in there to provide ambient light.
From the little I have read, solar panels are attached (wherever) and then are attached to a charge controller, which is attached to a battery, which the lights are wired into.
My garage gets a full days sunlight.
Does anyone have any input or experience on something like this? What to look for?

Not much experience with solar, but I think that I would work from the inside out.
What is the total wattage of the lights you will mount.
What will be the maximum hours they are on.
Size the battery to the maximum plus a safety factor.
Size the other components to the maximum draw and maximum hours of lighting wanted.

I was thinking about 4 to 6 10 watt lights they may be on anywhere from an hour to 4 hours. I figure the lights are the first factor. Looking for something that isn't dim like a nightlight but I do not expect florrsant lighting reesults
