Floor remodel with full bath added

Hi, I've had such terrific help in the forum in the past I know I'll gt the answers I need.

I'm in the planning stages of a remodel to my second floor. It's going to be an "In-laws" apartment for my younger brother. In the new bath code says I need to install an exhaust fan. I also know the receptacles are to GFCI. Can the exhaust fan/ceiling light combo be on the same circuit as the receptacles? Due to the size and physical layout of the bath, there will only be room for 2 receptacles. Thanks, Roger

If the 20 amp circuit only serves one bathroom you can add lights and fans along with the receptacle as long as the extras load is less than 10 amps.
