Timer Switch with Dimmer

I would like to install a programmable timer wall switch with a dimmer capability on a 3-way circuit (2 switches to operate the light). As there is no such device, can I install a Dimmer on one of the switches and the Timer on the other? Not sure if this will work. Would appreciate advice. Thank you.

Welcome to the forums!. You will have two scenarios to overcome. First you'll need a neutral in the switch box where the timer is located on some models. Often there is not a neutral available. Second, the dimmer/timer will need to be 3 way compatible. The one switch location can house both the dimmer and timer, but the other location will most likely just have a regular 3 way switch installed. No they can't be installed in different locations since you want them to perform in tandem.
UPM ETW193 Programmable Wall Switch Timer, 500W - Smarthome can be adapted for SPST or 3 way with jumpers. See the installation manual.

Thank you for the insight; that is most helpful. I will try the UPM ETW 193 ...route as you suggest. Much appreciated.
