12 Volt LEDs flickering and flashing
I installed 3 3 watt mr16 LEDs in my kitchen to save power. In the first three months, I noticed the LEDS flicker when turned on, but the flickering goes away after a few minutes. Then, one day when I turned the light on, one of the three LEDs started to flash with 1 second intervals. But after a few minutes, the flashing also goes away as well. Then it will flicker until finally, it stays constantly on. Then , two of them started to flash. Each time I turned it on, it take longer for them become constantly on. I tested the sockets with 5o watt halogens and they do not flicker or flash. BTW the house and transformer for 12v DC is about 20 years old. And there is no dimmer installed. Help! This is really annoying!

Are you sure the transformer is not AC instead of DC...... the MR-16's would have only required AC.
If it is DC then you'll need to check the output voltage.
