Master" 3 way Switch For Multiple Switched Zones

Separated from: http://www.doityourself.com/forum/li...ghts-room.html

I am also thinking doing exactly the same for my basement. Do you have the detailed diagram (wiring for each zone with 3-way SW) ?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums.

I looked at the circuit diagram in the other thread and although I saw 3) single pole switches..... I didn't see any three way wiring.

So you would like a three way switch at the top of your stairway and at the bottom of your stairway you would want the other three way. Then also at the bottom you would like to control three zones of lights from the same location as the three way switch. At the bottom of the stairway you would have the three way switch and three other switches.... is that correct ?

Do you have a three way circuit in place now or are we starting from scratch ?
