can my new bathroom fan have insulation around the box?

Here is the new fan I just installed in my attic: NuTone.ca Bath Fans, Indoor Air Quality Products, Door Chimes, Central Vacuums, Intercom Systems, Range Hoods, Attic Ventilators and Ironing Centers.. I live in the northern hemisphere, so my attic is full of blown-in pink insulation. The fan I replaced was buried in this pink insulation. My new fan is currently also buried in this same pink insulation. I want to make sure that it is okay to have the fan box and the venting to be surrounded by my insulation.

Broan seems to indicate on their website that all their fans are able to be buried in insulation up to R40 (Broan Canada Frequently Asked Questions: Exhaust Fans.), but I want to double check, as you can't be too safe when it comes to fire hazards.

The uses two small fluorescent tubes.
You will have no problems with heat if you put insulation right up to the can.
