Ceiling fan wiring - question on colors

Hello - I just took down the existing light fixture (no fan) and I see the following wires out of the outlet box:

White (connected to white on light fixture)
Pink (connected to black on light fixture)
Bare copper (connected to bare copper on light fixture)
Grey (not connected to anything - capped off)

When I opened up the ceiling fan box, I see the following colors:

Can anyone help me with what colors from the box should go with what colors on the fan?

Any help would be fantastic. Thanks in advance!

Any instructions with the fan? Is this a fan/light combo?

Do you have conduit? Normally a bare ground is cable. Blue though would be rare for cable in residential but then pink is not a normal color for conduit or cable.

Was the bare actually a pigtail connected to a metal box? Was the pink really an off color red. Gray is possible but indicates a second neutral from a second power source. Are you sure it was gray. http://www.doityourself.com/forum/li...-pictures.html

Additionally, what do you see in the box on the wall for the switch controlling this fixture?
