Track Light suggestion?

I just had some new cabinets installed which included a pantry. The pantry door opens where my ceiling fan used to be . I only have about 7/8 gap between the ceiling and the new pantry door . I am looking for something that is very low profile which i can wire to that existing electrical box in the ceiling and run a track light bar off of it. I would really rather not use wire molding if at all possible. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I doubt you can get above it,if you are handy and the joists are running the right way you could fish a cable from that box to the new location, cut an old work box in ,and blank off the existing box, really not as hard as it sounds, how many wires are in the box now?

I am not sure to be honest. I know its a concrete ceiling and I have rooms above that ceiling.

If it is a concrete ceiling forget my last post, your only option then would be surface raceway and even that maybe tough with only 7/8" to work with.
