Light fixture in kitchen

i am changing the light fixture in the kitchen.

the ceiling box has a white, black, and orange wire.
the new light has a white, black, yellow, and cooper wire.

i have connected the white to white, black to black, cooper wire to green screw, and yellow to orange. the light turns on, but every time i turn off the light it trips the breaker.

have i done something wrong?

A light fixture should have two wires (plus ground if any). Can you post a picture of the light's wires and the house wires? http://www.doityourself.com/forum/li...rt-images.html

i called the light manufacturer:
white is neutral, black is hot, cooper is ground, and yellow is for a dimmer.

my ceiling box has white, black, green, and orange wires.

the wall light switch has orange on top (off position) and black at bottom (on position)

any other suggestions of where the orange should connect?

Connect the black wire of the light to the orange wire.
Connect the white wire of the light to the white wire.
Connect the ground to green.
Cap off the black wire.
