Lamp Ballasts Interchangeable?

Hello from Toronto, Ontario, Canada

I have a defective 2 foot under cabinet T12 lamp in which the ballast is buzzing like crazy. The defective ballast is shown in the first photo.

I also have an unused 3 foot under cabinet T12 lamp which is fine. Can I switch the working ballast from the 3 foot lamp into the 2 footer lamp with no issues? The ballast from the 3 footer is shown in the second photo.

To confirm, I want to use the working ballast in the second picture, as a replacement for the defective ballast in the fist picture.

Having said all that it appears the pictures are UPSIDE down in my post, although the originals are not. It also seems they are being highly compressed so you can't read the details...GAH! What do you need to know to determine if these are interchangeable?

120TP (1) F14T12, (1) F15T12 or (1) F20T12
130TP (1) F30T12, (1) F34T12, (1) F40T12

Basically the same ballast but the 130TP has a higher strike voltage and higher lamp current rating. You may be able to swap them but the tube may not last as long.
