Bathroom fan/light combo light delayed?

All of our bathrooms have a fan/light combo fixture. When switched on fan comes on immediately but light flickers after about 3 seconds then finally comes on after another 2 seconds. Is this normal for these types of fixtures or can this be corrected? Appreciate any input.

Is it a standard switch or proprietary switch for the fan/light. Do they all do that? Have tey always done that?

Wow, that was quick Bulb: Philips PL-C 13W/27 USA Made in Holland. All fixtures are delayed and all have done this since day one. I believe the switch is standard switch, not sure what you mean by proprietary. Thanks.

My guess would be the bulb. especially since it is CFL. Try one from a different manufacturer or a PL-C LED.
