Installing a ceiling fan (with light)

Ceiling fan has:
1 black wire
1 blue wire
1 white wire
Ceiling has 4 yellow wires bundled together, 4 white wires bundled together and 1 red wire. Could you please tell me which wire goes where? and could i add a ground wire to the fan fixture?

Welcome to the forums.

It would appear your wiring is in conduit.

The yellow bundle is the always live connection.
The red would be a switched hot line.
The white bundle is the neutrals.

Do you want the switch to turn the light and fan on together ?
You can switch the light and use a pull chain for the fan.

I only want the switch to turn on the light only if possible.

and the switch to turn the light on/off and use a pull chain for the fan.

No.... don't connect any grounds to the white/neutral wires. You would need to connect a green wire from the metal box to the fan frame. Usually there is a hole tapped in the box for a green ground screw. If there is not.... use one of the fan bracket mounting screws.

Yes.... the other connections are good.
The light will be switched from the wall and the fan will use a pull chain.
