3-way switch not working after replacing fixture

I had replaced the ceiling light in my kitchen. The 3 way switched worked liked they should. Before I changed it out I drew a diagram of the wiring at the old light. It went red to red from each switch, black to black from each switch, one white from switch 1 to white on light and white from switch 2 to black on light.

It's wired power -> switch -> fixture -> switch

I wired the new light same way but now the 3 ways don't work the way they should. It's the typical one light turns on off other switch turns on off but when switch 2 is off switch 1 won't turn on.

I'm pretty sure it's not the switches since they worked prior to me changing the light. Any advice would be great!

Welcome to the forums. Which wire is connected to the black screw on each switch. Those should terminate at your power and load.

Thanks for the welcome. Switch 1 has black wire at the black screw and switch 2 has white at black screw.

Normally black wires are used for line and load, while red and white are runners. You will need to change the black and white wires on switch 1.
