wiring lights

Hello, ordered some lights and the instructions are from a different country. The wires are listed as

N-blue- Zero line
L-Brown - live line
Ground

Now I want to make sure I'm putting them up right. I would assume that the zero is neutral and the live is hot?

Yes the N is neutral. It may have ribs on the casing to tell you it is the neutral, maybe not. Are these designed for 220v. 50 Hz installation in Europe?

Are the casings metal. Is there no ground wire? Are you going to use them outside?

Yes metal. And yes there is a ground wire. They will be mounted outside. These are commercial size flood lights.
