Trying to separate bath fan and light, but only 2 wires?

My bathroom vent fan and light fixture is currently on the same switch and I would like to control them separately so I bought a switch with 2 switches on it. My problem is that once I looked in the electrical box, I found only 2 black wires and 2 neutral white wires that were only connected to each other. Is it possible for me to separate the control of the fan and light with this configuration?

There is only one hot lead going into the switch box & only one going to the light/fan from the switch box. Can you run another line between the switch & the light/fan?

Probably, but I'll have to call someone in to do that for me in the future. I was just hoping it would be easier than that! Thanks

I like them to be separated too. Sometimes I want to run the fan by itself & other times I just need the light.
