Unhappy with LED replacing existing halogen lamps, need ideas
I replaced ten 50W 120V GU10 halogen lamps in can lights in a bathroom. They aren't as bright as I expected, and not as bright as the halogens I replaced.
I used 15W 120V GU10 LED lamps. These: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I see lots of LED replacement lamps advertised as 50W equivalent, using 8 or 9 watts, like these here: https://www.earthled.com/collections...n-replacements
Did I just get cheap ones that aren't as bright as they should be?
Second problem is that I ordered five 5-packs. The first 5-pack seemed like the white light that I wanted. The next two 5-packs had a yellowish color to them, quite noticeable. By that time, I'd already determined I wasn't happy.
I'm not experienced yet in doing these GU10 LED replacements. Are there some known issues? Did I just buy garbage?
Any comments appreciated; thanks!

You certainly could have bought too cheap a bulb I know I did from Amazon.com for a hall and entryway light. After about a year and a half of not being able to see all that well in the hallway I was disgusted and replaced the whole fixture with a bright all in one LED fixture. My problem was that I really didn't know much except the wattage and not the Kelvin temperature of the bulb too. Here is a link to the Energy Star website that explains in part what Kelvin means Color and Mood : ENERGY STAR.
Don't go entirely by the Kelvin temperature or the wattage as how an LED bulb is made means a great deal too. My mistake for the hallway and the entry way light was that the bulbs were plastic and pitted and had a bluish tint to the plastic. So they definitely were inferior bulbs and not worth buying.
I personally like the LED bulbs that are frosted glass myself and I did buy some LED tubes online to replace T-12 fluorescent tubes at another online venue that I like very well. So online isn't always bad it just depends on where you get them, better to see them in person if you can. If you go to a store the best price I have seen in the store is at the Home Depot for Cree bulbs.
