Reduce a 4way switch setup from 3 switches to 2 switches
I have a situation whereas I have 3 switches controlling 1 lower light and 3 upper lights. There is 1 switch (which I believe is a 3way ) near the entry on the lower floor, I have what I believe is the 4way switch on the first floor, and there is another what I assume to be a 3way switch on the second floor. What I would like to do is to disconnect the second floor switch so as only the two, first floor and lower switches control the lights. Can you explain to me what I need to do to accomplish that and what information do I need to provide you so you could understand the current set up i am dealing with ?

You will still need a junction box at the location of the 3 way you are trying to eliminate,to do this remove the 3 way and wirenut the common wire (dark screw) to one of the other wires (travelers) and cap off the remaining conductor, install a blank plate.

What do you plan to do at the disconnected three way switch ? Blank plate ?
You can bypass and remove the switch but the wiring will, more than likely, need to remain intact.
