Remote Light Switch?

I'm looking for a remote light switch (or two). I recently bought a new house and removed the interior light next to the front door. I'd like to use that switch to control the lights in the living room.

I was told you can buy a remote switch and place the receiver in the switch for the lights you want to control, but I'm having a hard time finding it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I checked with Lowes and they had no idea what I was talking about.

I'm looking for one double switch and one single switch in this style.

Thanks

Look into X10. They have a lot of wireless items that might do what you are looking for.

X-10 is old technology and not all that reliable in my experience. The newer technology is Insteon (do a Google) and everything I read about it says it beats X-10 six ways to Sunday.

Good to know, I have very little experience with X10 but knew it was out there. Thanks Furd!
