Seneca Ceiling Fan - Light Won't Shut Off W/ Remote Control
Hi, I have a Seneca 52" ceiling fan model M52-5B/3LIA1E. Everything has worked properly for almost 12 months. One night as I was trying to shut the lights off with the remote control and leave the fan still on, but the lights would not shut off.
I looked to see if the wires are still connected properly and appears that they are. I have tried switching the remote control battery, but the problem is still happening. What can be causing this issue?
If I turn the wall switch off, everything then turns off (fan and lights).
Here is the manual.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums.
That looks like a Harbor Breeze fan product.
The receiver that is located up in the fans canopy has gone bad.

Hi, I called the phone number that appears on the manual. Stated the problem, said what appeared to be the cause, and they sent me a new receiver and remote control. Case is closed. Thanks for the help!
