How to connect ground wires in new light fixture

I'm going to be replacing a wall hanging light fixture. I've seen many videos saying to wire both grounds together, cover with a nut, and you are good to go. My instructions say to run both wires to the green screw on my mounting bracket. Which do I do?

I'd suggest running a "pigtail"(a short length of wire) from under the grounding screw to the grounds coming from the light and the power source, and wire nut all 3 together.
Good luck with your installation.

Is the junction box metal? If it is the house ground is run to the box ground then connected to the other grounds. If the box is plastic then all grounds are connected together but there is no ground to the box.
