Exhaust Fan

Kitchen has a 1950's style exhaust fan in the ceiling above the gas range. It certainly needs to be replaced with something that will actually spin and evacuate kitchen odors.

I measure about 10" in circumference. I looked briefly at HD and Lowe's for a replacement but all I see are simple bathroom exhaust fans.

Does anyone know of something that will fit in the space that will push the kitchen cooking odors out of the house with minimal effort?

I really liked those fans. I don't like the new style that recirculates the air through a filter. What brand is the current fan?

You should be easily able to get a motor for that fan at any motor shop, or through Grainger. Alternatively, Nutone makes an almost identical fan:

Utility Fans - Ventilation Fans - NuTone
