What kind of light bulb is this?

I'm trying to replace the lightbulbs in my bathroom however I am having trouble finding them in the store.

Does anyone know what type or the name of this light bulb is?

Halogen. Measure it for length, wattage should be written on either the bulb or the light fixture.

Looks like a double ended halogen bulb.

When you find the right bulb and are replacing the old one, don't handle the glass part with your bare fingers. Use some toilet paper or paper towel. The oils from your skin will transfer to the glass making a 'hot spot' which will reduce the life of the bulb.

Some say they don't bother with this and all will be well, it's just a good practice as far as I'm concerned.

Do a search for Halogen Torchiere Bulb.

Once you find a bulb site you like, you can narrow down your search by "double ended" and the length of the bulb. I found a few quickly.

Edit: Be aware the bulb is enclosed in a protective shield. Remove the shield, then the bulb.
