Problems with dusk to dawn sensors on outdoor lights

installed 3 of them the packaging says cfl led and westek is the brand of 2 of them. one fixture flickers and or works perfect or not at all and is currently flickering in the day? with 3 cfl installed in each. the last one doesnt work at all and the middle one is fine. i tried putting 3 incandescents in but then the dusk to dawn feature doesnt work they just stay on all the time.

You need 3 wire sensors for CFL. Using two wire can cause CFL to flicker.

What size incandescents? Two-wire photocells require a certain minimum wattage of the bulbs to work properly. They also will stay lit for a minute or two when first powered. There is also the possibility that using the CFL bulbs first damaged the photocell units.
