Is my fan/light wired Correctly?

Hello. I just put together my fan/light. I connected house black to black..... house white to white, house red to blue , and house ground to green. The light and fan are on its own switch but now the light switch turns on the fan and the fan switch turns on the light. Can you tell me what's going on here? PS: I had posted about the fan/light this past weekend. These old switches are going to be changed to a single switch which will control both light and fan, but I didn't want to go any further until I am sure that the wiring at the fan/light is ok. Thanks for your help!

Just reverse the two power wires.....swap the black and blue fan/light wires.
Connect the fan (black) wire to red and the light (blue) wire to black.

You're saying that I should swap the wires at the 2 switches on the wall?

Either at the fan end or the switch end. Makes no difference.

OK Thanks. I'm not going to take the fan down as that is a bunch more work. I may come back here with a few questions on the switch in several more days. I'm going to leave as is for now until I have the time to work on that. Moderators on this site are AWESOME! Thanks again.
