Flood light install w/two green wires

I just picked up the RAB STL360HW Stealth motion detection flood light to install in the eaves above my garage door. There seems to have been a light here before, and when I pulled off the cover plate, I saw just two green wires in the box.

So I assume I need to figure out which is hot and which is neutral. What's the safest way to go about testing them?

The safest thing is to go inside where those connect and replace those two greens wires with a proper white and black wire. You could leave one green behind as ground if the connections are at a grounded junction box.

Possibly you have knob and tube wiring ? If not you should find the proper colors inside.
